Mónica Bejarano is a Mexican actress with a solid professional career. In 2010 he starred in La tienda de raya , under the direction of Mariana Chenillo, one of the stories that are part of the film Revolution , which offers a critical vision of the validity of the Mexican revolution, from the perspective of seven prestigious directors. The following year he co-starred in the film Adiós mundo Cruel , by Jack Zagha Kababie, winner of the best film at the Austin Texas and Dallas Film Festival.
In 2017, he starred in The Reasons of the World , by Ernesto Martínez Bucio, a medium-length film officially selected at the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, competing in the Cinefondation category.
Among his latest works are the feature films El Jardin aka , Narco Killers , by Christian Cavazos and White Arms , by Mariana Musalem. He has participated in numerous theatrical works participating in national and international tours.
In 2013, he translated and adapted the novel Borderline by Marie-Sissi Labréche for the stage. Also in 2011, he wrote the play Fagus based on the novel The Mouth Full of Earth by Branimir Šćepanović.
In 2008, Mónica founded La Escafandra in Mexico City, the first playback theater company in Mexico, which has its own extensive curriculum.
